Jacks Fall to Top Ranked Wildcats

The Lumberjack Softball team dropped a four-game series to top ranked NDSCS Sunday and Monday by scores of 10-2, 12-0, 13-2, and 13-0.

10-2 loss

In the opening game of the series Adyson Brady, Keely Thornton, Hope Zirk and Sykora Saddleback all doubled, and Saddleback drove in a run. On the basepaths Alarryen Fuselier picked up a stolen base.

12-0 loss

In Sunday's game two Brady and Saddleback each recorded a hit. Emanuell Weber and Bradt each stole a base. From the pitching circle Thornton and Ava Klinger each struck out a Wildcat

13-2 loss

In Mondays first game Kaisee Witnicki, Weber, and Thornton each had a hit, Witnicki also stole a base. Klinger recorded one strikeout from the circle in a relief appearance.

13-0 loss

In the series finale Zirk, Fuselier, and Thornton all recorded a hit. Thornton also registered three strikeouts from the circle.

The Jacks are scheduled to close out their regular season with a split series doubleheader with Lake Region State College on Saturday in Devils Lake and Sunday in Bottineau. Stay tuned to DCB social media channels for any weather-related updates.
