The Lumberjack Baseball team dropped all three games of their opening weekend series to Williston State 11-1 twice and 11-6.

11-1 loss

In the season opener Brennan Niewinski and Alonso Rodriguez each had a hit. Tristen Chandler was credited with the run batted in. On the mound D'Angelo Nicholson struck out three Tetons as the starter. Luke Wegner sat down three in relief.

11-6 loss

In game two of the series Rodriguez, Andrew Renken, and Blaze Workman each doubled. Niewinski collected a triple and drove in a run. Austin Nielson tallied two hits and two RBIs. Boyd Anderson and Workman also each also drove in a run. Kaio English, Nick Thomas, and Grady Holen each registered on strikeout on the mound.

11-1 loss

In the final game of the series Rodriguez and Workman each had a base hit and Workman had an RBI. Daxton Vela had two strikeouts as the starter on the mound. Branson Peterson had a strikeout in a relief appearance.

DCB falls to 0-3 overall. The Jacks will take on St Cloud Technical College for a four-game series Friday and Saturday in Wakefield, NE.
