DCB Head Men's Basketball Coach Karl Sorby has announced the signing of three more Australian student-athletes. Max Groom (6'2 Guard, Perth, AUS,) Brendan Redhead (6'0 Guard, Rockingham, AUS) & Kyiah O'Donohue (6'4 Wing, Burringurrah, AUS) have all signed Letters of Intent to join DCB next season. The Lumberjack Basketball program will suit up a total of five Australian student-athletes in 2022-23 with the previously announced signing of Jacob Smith and returning sophomore Loukas Triantis.

Coach Sorby on the signing of Groom, Redhead, & O'Donohue: "We are very excited to continue to grow our connection to Australia! While we did not expect to grow our numbers so quickly, we are very pleasantly surprised to add three very driven, high character student-athletes to our program. Anyone who comes in contact with these guys will have their day brightened. Anyone who attends our games will thoroughly enjoy watching these guys play.

Those who watched us play last year knows that we like to shoot the 3. All three of these guys will be able to do that, and more. One of the major attractions to recruiting Australia is the emphasis their basketball community puts on playing a team game. DCB fans will take notice of how well these guys will play team basketball, how hard they play, and how willing they are to do the little things, the tough things that help win games.
