Dakota College at Bottineau Athletic Director Casey Pierson announced Friday that Johnathan Mills has been named the next Head Baseball Coach.

Mills comes to Bottineau after spending time as the Manger of the Minnesota Mash, a summer ball team primarily working with high school Juniors and Seniors. Prior to his time with the Mash Mills was the head coach at East Central College, an NJCAA school located in Missouri. In his first season at ECC Mills was named Region 16 Coach of the Year and led his team to back-to-back Region Championships. Four players from Mills' s first recruiting class moved on to Division 1 schools.  Over Mills's 20+ year coaching career he has had stops at the University of Alabama as a student assistant, and Troy University as a Video Coordinator.
