The Lumberjack Baseball team picked up a split of a four-game series with the Bismarck State College Mystics and dropped a doubleheader to Lake Region State College during the Easter holiday weekend.

14-3 loss to Bismarck State

In game one of the series Kaeden Wilcox and Ayden Lasson each drove in a run. Kayden Cey and Lasson each tallied two hits. On the mound Hunter Hansen got the start and struck out two.

5-4 win over Bismarck State College

A rally in the bottom of the seventh would give the Jacks the victory. Domnic Holmstrup singled and drove in two runs to give the Jacks the walk-off victory. Cey homered and had two RBIs; Dalton Vangorden also drove in a run. Wilcox had two doubles. Nathaniel McGill struck out six Mystics in 6.2 innings of work. Bryce Meyers closed out the game with a strikeout and earned the win.

5-3 win over Bismarck State College

It would take extra innings, but the Jacks would score two runs in the top of the eighth to take game one on Saturday. Tatum Packer, Evan Pursifull, Joe Plett, and Wilcox all drove in one run. Lasson had a double for DCB. On the base paths Cey picked up a stolen base. Owen Taylor got the start and had four strikeouts in five innings of work. Andrew Crowe got the win in relief.

9-4 loss to Bismarck State College

In the series finale, Carter Ralston and Vangorden each doubled and had a run batted in. Packer and Lasson were each credited with an RBI. Wilcox hit his third triple of the season and had a stolen base. On the mound Grady Davis, Cade Buxton, and Kaio English each had one strikeout, while Nicholas Jacobson and Derek Borino struck out two Mystics.

5-2 loss to Lake Region State College

Wilcox led the offensive attack for the Jacks with a solo home run. Holmstrup singled and drove in a run. Plett had the third hit and swiped a base. On the mound D"Angelo Bouctouche struck out five Royals.

5-0 loss to Lake Region State College

McLeod Sell doubled for the Jacks only hit in game two. Meyers had three strikeouts on the mound.

The Jacks record sits at 15-23 overall and 3-15 inside the Mon-Dak. DCB is scheduled to pay at home Saturday and Sunday against Dawson Community College. Game times are set for 1/3:00p.m. both days.
