Bottineau, ND. – Dakota College at Bottineau (0-2) will travel to Mesabi Range College (2-0) for their first road game of the season this Saturday, September 7th.  Kickoff is at 1:30 PM.

The Series
DCB leads the all-time series 3-1, though Mesabi won the last matchup in the 2017 MCAC playoff semifinals..

The Teams
The Lumberjacks have had a slow start to 2019 as inconsistency on offense and unfortunate mistakes have cost the team early on.  The offense will try to get on track behind defending MCAC West Division POW Aaron Tomasuolo.  The Sophomore QB from Chugiak, Alaska completed 14 of 19 passes last week for 2 TD's in the Jacks' loss to Rochester.

DCB's defense has played very well despite injuries in the secondary so far this young season.  The Jacks have surrendered only 23 points total despite spending a lot of time on the field.

MRCTC: The Norsemen have started out hot this fall with a 2-0 record, defeating Rochester in week one and then handing the two-time defending MCAC Champion Northland a 27-10 defeat last weekend.  They are quick and athletic and the injury laden Jacks will have their hands full.
