It was a much better effort for the DCB football team in week two of the MCAC football season.  DCB dropped a 25-13 decision to Rochester Community and Technical College but was able to move the ball on offense after being shut down and shut out the week before.

The Jacks managed 214 yards of offense, 162 of that in the air.  They scored two 4th quarter touchdowns, both passes from sophomore QB Aaron Tomosoulo.  The first a catch and run play to sophomore RB Steven Sanders for 23 yards.  The next a nice 15 yard hookup to freshman Keviyon Hampton

The defense put in a second good game holding the Yellowjackets to just one offensive TD and 295 yards of offense.  The Jacks picked up three interceptions, one each by Josiah Price, Abdul Bangura and Ricardo young.  Young was the top tackler with 6 solo tackles and 4 assisted tackles.

The Yellowjackets scored their other majors on a blocked punt and an interception.  They also added a FG.

The Jacks will hit the road for the first time next weekend as they travel to Mt. Iron, Minnesota to take on Mesabi Range College.  Mesabi defeated Northland CTC 27-10 this past weekend to stay undefeated at 2-0.   Game time is 1:30pm Saturday Sept. 7th.
